The 2nd annual Student Powered Conference was on February 6th from 8:45-11:20 am at the Sartell Community Center.
The opening keynote, by Logan, Little Falls High School student, about making connections at school and how those connections can change your life was amazing! If you want to view the keynote - Logan Keynote
Following the keynote, there were multiple poster (in the gym) and 4 breakout sessions filling 3 time slots for students to choose from. All sessions were lead by student presenters.
To wrap up the morning, we had a get up and move activity that generated a lot of laughs and fun.
After last years great success with middle school students as our "pilot group" we opened the conference up for students in grades 4-12 and almost filled the the community center. Students from grades 4 through 12 lead sessions and it was awesome!
